PTA Treasurer

Hi,

I have recently taken over the Chair position for a health busy PTA. My question is,if the treasurer doesn't fulfill their role in the way the Chair wants, or gives little if any financial updates. What are the consequences or next steps?

I'm CFO of a MAT, and have dropped a couple of charities that I did free, as they were more painful than the day job. If you make the role too onerous you will struggle to fill it.

All the committee are esponsible for checking the accounts. There should be a financial update at each meeting where you can question anything and ask the information is provided at the next meeting if it isn't to hand presently.

Ask for information or a breakdown of previous years or events to compare what went well or your biggest sales. But consider how much information you really need.
