Hi

I am trying to understand how to prepare a 3 year old for 4+ assessments. Also which private schools I can target as most of boys schools start from 7+. Only schools I am aware of are Habs, Merchant Taylors and Highgate. Any insight will be very helpful.

Alleyns, UCS, Dulwich College are other schools that start at 4 and carry through. I’m sure there are others.

Send him to a good preschool and read lots and discuss books, identify numbers, count things etc

Where do you live?

Currently in east London but planning to shift near Edgware

Other schools you could look at include The Hall (Swiss Cottage) and Arnold House (St John’s Wood) … but these might be too far away from Edgeware

Is there any reason you don't want to consider prep schools? There are lots in the NW London area with good academic standards and majority are co-ed

Ah, sorry, are you looking for through schools from 4+? The ones I mentioned are only until 13.

Is anyone going through 4+ assessments at the mo? Have set up a thread here for 2023:
