Lingfield Prep or The Hawthorns

Hello,
I currently have a child at the Hawthorns school but we are about to move to Lingfield.

I am very happy with the Hawthorns currently and it’s not too much of a drive from Lingfield, but I know that Lingfield will be easier commute wise.

Does anyone have any experience of both prep
schools? Is it worth moving schools ?

I can't help that much with info on Lingfield Prep (apart from the fact my neighbours had their children there, and felt that it had recently gone downhill), however, it is worth thinking about the move onto senior school. As a recent Hawthorns parent, I have found the senior school guidance we received from the Headmaster and other senior members of staff to be outstanding. My two children have moved onto different senior schools, because I was keen to find the right school for each of them, and the Hawthorns prepared both of them (and me!) brilliantly, and they are thriving. As Lingfield is a through school, I don't think you'd get any support if you were considering a different senior school. I looked at Lingfield College for senior, but have to admit that I wasn't blown away by it. I hope that helps!
