Lunch bag delivery?

I had to go in to junior school yesterday and I was so shocked at how disgusting the school lunch (burger, chips and sweetcorn) looked.
We pay £2.50 a meal.
I don’t have time to make packed lunches - is there an alternative that I haven’t thought of?
Like ready made lunch bags so I can send him in with packed lunch but I don’t have to make it myself??

@MyBrotherIsATit - brilliant idea might try that

I’m sort of with you OP. One of my favourite things about my daughter moving from childminder to nursery is that all food is provided, so no more packed lunches or dinners!!! Yes it only takes 5-10 minutes but it’s yet another thing to do at the end of the day or in the morning rush. I always felt like there was a lack of variety - only sandwiches mine will have are marmite, cheese or peanut butter (which would be banned in most schools). Also cutting up fruit which then didn’t always get eaten but would have gone mushy so needed binning, see also sausage rolls and mini sausages which have been out in the warm all day. I hated the packaging waste with babybels, yogurts etc.

honestly, not having to do that one job each evening makes my life so much simpler 😂😂😂 thankfully meals where she is now are very good, fingers crossed school will be too though I’m not holding out much hope…

I freeze wee portions if leftovers like curry, chilli, spag bol etc. I leave one out the night before, micro in the morning and put in a thermos. I throw in a portion of fruit, a jelly and a frube.

They're fine.

Only when you're not the person eating them 🤢🤮😁

I tended to make a loaf's worth of sandwiches at a time, and freeze them in individual bags, so to put a packed lunch together I got a sandwich out the freezer, crisps out of a multipack, raisin box out of a multipack, yoghurt tube (these can be frozen too) and a juice cartion. If you buy with lunches in mind you don't have to do a Pinterest worthy packed lunch every night.
