Speech and language activities for different phonics phases?

Please can anyone point me in the direction of good or useful resources for communication and interaction (i.e. speech and language therapy) for the different phases of phonics?

Also are there any good assessment tools to determine which phonics phase a child is working on?

Thank you.

What's your goal here? Phonics is usually used to refer to reading letter sounds. Do you actually mean speech sounds? And how are you tying in communication and interaction to speech sounds/reading? Are you talking about helping the child understand that changing the speech/ letter sounds in words change what is communicated?
