Preparing for Occasional place in year 4

Hi Mums,

Please can someone advice how to prepare for an occasional place which has now come up in Year 4 for an independent school. Our DD is in year 3 currently and I put her name down thinking something might come up. We received an emailed yesterday and tests are in 15 days. So this is very short time for any preps.

The format is 7+ but will it be same level? Will they change for test for year 4?

I would ask the school assessing her to give you some guidance - it varies a lot. Probably some online maths, english, reasoning questions. Some will use tests similar to the Bond books for that age or Atom online - you could get a trial for the latter?
