City 7+ waitlist

Hi, my DD has been waitlisted at City Junior for 7+. Wondering whether someone else is in the same situation or have experience with reserve list at City? Does it move at all?

I doubt there would be any movement until the offer acceptance deadline has passed on Wednesday. As you’d expect they have over offered (I don’t have numbers) but given it is very new as a co-Ed it is hard to predict how it will work out.

Were you given a number of the waiting list or just told you are on it?

I’ve seen advice on other threads on wait lists generally that if you are very keen, it may help to make it clear to Admissions that you would definitely accept and would pay the deposit same day. Provided you’re polite I don’t see it can harm to make this clear if true.

Unfortunately they don’t disclose the position on the waitlist. So just sitting with fingers crossed until the deadline!!

@Jumanjijungle what ended up happening to you in 2023? We are in the same position this year (2025). Thanks for sharing!
