Habs 4+ waitlist

Hello does anyone have any experiences or info which would shed light on how we approach a waitlist place at habs? It is our first choice school and we would appreciate any insight to also manage our expectations. We are desperately trying to get her a place because we love the school for her so much.

Bumping to top - anyone else have experience with getting in via a waitlist ? Should I give up hope?

Honestly just find a prep replacement and try again for the 7+. Habs is seriously over subscribed and hardly noone leaves before the 7+. There are other great schools around, where do you live? Lots of other options from RMS, st Helens, st Margret's. Etc.

I know of 3 girls that are turning habs down for NLCS/shhs but haven’t let the school know as yet. That’s just from our nursery, so there will be movement. The question is only about how much they over offered by.

@Pinky1011 thank you for the advice but I don’t want to send my child to any of those schools. I’ve also been through the system myself and in fact went to Northwood College so am very familiar. If she doesn’t get habs we have a prep secured

@FeelingAnxious248 thanks for that. I also know a couple of girls who have rejected their place from a pre prep in Hampstead and one from my daughters nursery. I’ve called the school a few times last week. Will give the registrar another shout on Monday. And then hope for the best outcome on Wednesday or Thursday.

@mumoftwo86 curious to see if things moved for you on the waitlist?

All I can say on this is the ‘all you can do is just wait’ and ‘the honestly just find a replacement’ chat didn’t put me off… and a positive outcome was had.
