Looking at prep schools in Enfield area for 4yo child. Considering Grange Park Prep school in Winchmore Hill as its now co-ed. Struggling to find up to date reviews on the school... anyone have experience on whether this is a good school? Thanks

I would say it's a bit twee, which is fine if you only want to stay until 7 years. The schol's real estate doesn't amount to much compared with say Oaklands or Coopersale, though they are probably too far for you.

Hello. I had a look at grange park prep a couple of months ago and looked like a very nurturing environment. Small classes and a teaching assistant in every class. Also liked the fact that they take the children swimming lessons. However on the other hand the size of the school is very small. I would personally want my children to have a feel of a bigger school.

Hi @Fullmoon02 and @Yashka0403 - have you considered Vita et Pax near Oakwood station. My children go there, and it's a very nurturing school with a dynamic head, with good academic results and a good all-round education (eg the girls netball team won the borough competition). If you visit the school - you'll get a sense of how lovely the children there are: https://www.vitaetpax.co.uk/ Good luck and I hope you find the right school for your children.

I recommend looking at state schools. The behaviour I see from some preps at the sports centre is atrocious.

My daughter attended this school and there most definitely was never a TA in every class. The school is small and became progressively smaller as parents pulled their children out one by one due to the ongoing issues of safe guarding, bullying and poor teaching standards within the school.

I’m surprised that having a TA in every class isn’t a standard thing, every class at my kids state school has one in class full time.
