LEH 7+ feedback on coach service

Hello everyone, would be grateful for any feedback in relation to LEH coach serving Chiswick or Wimbledon routes. Particularly grateful if you could share experience of your DD travelling for long distances on the coach, are there other Yr 3/4 children in these routes, are they able to manage on their own given we understand there are no adults to supervise, and any other considerations. Happy to have a chat too.
We are fortunate as our DD has got an offer for 7+ entry. We will be relocating but would prefer to stay in areas of tube connectivity as both of us have to travel to work. We will be asking the school as well for information but first hand experience is always very valuable.
Many thanks x

Just saw this - happy to chat. My year 3 daughter is on the coach, there’s about a third of them in her year who also go by coach. They get a coach buddy and are met for the first few weeks - all is fine and they love it!

My DD is year 8 at LEH and goes by coach. There are lots of juniors on the coach and they seem fine. The older girls look after them and the bus driver is quite strict about people staying in their seats / not being idiots. My DD says he yells if anyone stands up!

Thank you very much Flossietea, that's really helpful.

Any more feedback, would be most welcome.

Separately, if your DD has got an offer from LEH, would also be really good to connect. do let me know.

Many thanks everyone x

The coach is fab! As the other mums mention, the girls have a buddy when they join coach and it’s all managed well. Huge bonus to have this connectivity !!

@confusedmum2018 @Rockingallovertheworld88 @Flossietea hi, can you plz share ur experiences at leh plz 🙏 I understand they don't do prep for 11+ or grammars hence sounds limiting. Would you plz share what helped you decide us stick with leh seniors also? Pros and cons ..

Hi we did not send our DD to LEH in the end due to logistics challenges. FWIW we had our heart set and this was our first choice, but we couldn’t make the coaches and times work. Sorry couldn’t be of more help.

My DD didn’t go to LEH juniors so I can’t comment on that school I’m afraid. She started at seniors in year 7. Now in year 9 and absolutely loving it. The extra-curricular opportunities are amazing and the teaching is excellent across the board. If you’ve got a bright, interested, enthusiastic DD who wants to try lots of new things and give everything a go you won’t find a better place for her.
