Happy New Year all.

my DD is due to start primary school in sept 2023. The applications are looming. I’m so confused on which school to put in our top 3 -
1.St James’
2.bishop perrin
3.archdeacon
4.st edmunds
5.&6.also viewed chase bridge and TPA

my husband is Catholic and attends church every Sunday and my kids are baptised. BP is the closet (10 min walk) but St James’ seems to have an excellent academic record and reputation. I would like DD to attend waldegrave (where I went many moons ago) so wanted a little advice as to location vs school. Any first hand advice on kids attend the top 3. Thanks all 😀

And also just pros and cons of a small vs big school if anyone has first hand experience of either of these.

my children are half Indian and I had some concerns re: lack of diversity at St James’ - anyone attend that could shed some light would be great.

I think all the schools above lack diversity apart from maybe Chase Bridge

i know parents who have kids at St James and they love it

Funnily enough the two private schools in the area are the ones which are the most diverse (Jack & Jill and The Mall)

Hi, which school did you end up going with? Did you view them all? I am looking at schools for Sept 2024. Thanks
