Hello

We are moving to the N11/N22 area next year and wanted an idea of the local schools in the area.
At the moment we’re keen on Bowes Park / Bounds Green / Wood Green as more affordable than neighbouring Ally Pally and Muswell Hill.

Does anyone have any experience of the following schools:

Bounds Green Infant / Junior
Trinity Primary
Bowes Primary
Any schools in Bowes Park / Bounds Green / Wood Green

TIA x

Hi @Dream1990 , I moved to BG last October and just applied to primaries for DS to start in this coming September. I toured BGS, St Martin of Porres and Bowes, and found them to all be good and more down to the type of school you are looking g for as a parent (school size, ethos/style of school and teaching, location). The best school in the area according to results is Rhodes but the catchment is v limited due to popularity, and as you already noted, Alexandra Park is more expensive to buy in Vs Bounds Green, Bowes Park or Wood Green. Some parents really like Trinity academy too, but it’s not close to the part of Bounds Green I live in, so I didn’t go and view it.

Hello, I know parents and kids are happy both at Bowes and at Bounds Green. In general, Bounds Green has a more free-flow, creative reputation whereas Bowes has a more academic reputation (more homework, uniforms) etc. But both are nice schools.
I can’t speak for the others in the area.
