Looking for some advice on what it's like to live in Billingham? Struggling to find an affordable area near Middlesbrough for our budget. What are the schools like and is it a safe family area as I have a 3 year old and one on the way. My husband works nights sometimes so being safe is so important. Looking to rent for a year before buying while the market is so up in the air. We don't really want to pay over £600 a month to mirror what we pay now. I know it's not a lot but as going on Mat leave soon don't want to increase the bills but need to move closer for husbands work as it's an 3 hour round trip. Would consider other areas as well and happy to be 30 minutes away max by car.
