I attended an infant class size hearing recently. I was then informed that it's been adjourned and a fresh hearing will need to take place with a new panel.
This is due to information the local authority provided last minute which the Panel think that I should have had time to consider before the hearing.
Now I did mention that I briefly glanced at it and got the general gist of it. Reading this information in detail would not in any way change my arguments nor theirs. This wasn't even a point of contention at the hearing.
I feel like this is a box ticking exercise for the local authority and I am so frustrated that it will now further delay my child getting an education.
This is just one of the many incompetent things the local authority has done.
Do I have any recourse to contest this and ask the Panel to just make the decision without a fresh hearing? I am so angry grrrrrrr
