I’ve recently joined a pta at a new school. it all seems quite disorganised and wondered if there are any apps out there for PTA committees at all? Ie for volunteering for events and stuff like that?? Does anyone have any good suggestions as it’s a very small PTA but a group of others that would like to help here and there 🤔

Classlist has a free version of their app-have a look at that.

signupgenius (think it's called that) for organising volunteers for things...but I think Classlist will do that too....

Sorry for jumping on old thread. @schoolconundrum does your school use classlist. Our school PTA are looking into this.

In a limited way-selling tickets for events mainly and publicising things. But also still communicating via email as not all parents yet signed up. Seems to work ok for this??

WhatsApp works best

If you're members of ParentKind they offer PTAEvents but we don't use it so can't say if it's good or not.
Are you on any of the PTA FB groups? If not, join them - PTA Ideas Exchange is probably the best & most popular. You can ask for advice on there & get lots of replies.

I'd suggest a Trello board, can use lists for CRM/contact lists, financials, venues etc?

I'm pending approval on FB group but will definitely have a look. Just joined the PTA. I was looking for an easy way to sell preloved uniform to other parents and classlist marketplace looked good and easy. Event sign ups looked good too

We use PTA events through Parentkind. Parentkind are our insurance so I suggest joining yesterday! PTA events we have just started using so I'm still getting the hang of it but it feels pretty good so far.

We use pta-events via parentkind and it’s excellent
