Looking for a lovely primary in SE18 or near that will really push DS academically (as well as being generally brilliant of course). He is very able and am interested which schools do the most to stretch their most able.

Many thanks!

SE 18 is a very big area .Whereabouts are you there and do you have a shortlist of schools around you instead of best school in the entire Se18.

I'm centralish I suppose! But many of the schools aren't oversubscribed in Reception so I suppose I was just interested in thoughts in general. Then I could have a look to see if we are in the catchment.

Mine went to Plumcroft and it was amazing but we had to leave because we moved .
Timbercroft was our first choice but I am glad we went to Plumcroft.3 form entry but amazing .You can visit and make a judgement from there .

Are you on Facebook ?there is a Facebook group called plummy mummies .You can do a search there too and you will see schools and what people say about them .
Plumstead people is good too .search on there
People rate Timbercroft very highly .Try and see if you are in the catchment

Thanks so much. Yes Plummy Mummies is great.
I was interested particularly in catering for the high attainers as I know that sometimes they can be a bit bored at school but it's a bit embarrassing putting that on PM 😂
