Applying for a school out of catchment

Hi :)
I am making my application for primary schools now .
My first choice school will be at a school I work at . It is out of catchment and is always so popular and oversubscribed

Will I stand a better chance of getting in as I work there?

Check the admission criteria. Some schools give priority to staff, but the majority don't.

Only if there is a specific criteria in the defined admissions criteria, which should be on their website or the local LEAs site.

Agree, you need to check the admission criteria. If you don't get priority it might be a wasted choice.
