Not sure whether it will help but i noticed that M & S have what looks like a great kids book on punctuation. The local library may also have some good booksd..my daughter picked out a lift and flap book on punctuation a few weeks back...it was too advanced for her (DD5) but it was a fun way of looking at punctuation.

Lynne Truss did a children's version of Eats Shoots and Leaves which might be a fun adjunct to the M & S one lottysmum recommends
I think you should also ask the teacher for some additional resources, the poor chap should have been sent home with homework he can have a confident go at

Well, he has got a great teacher so I could have a word. I think marina he loves his maths but is much more slap dash with his punctuation. Rushing is a large fault of his lol but would like him to have a little more confidence in it so he could manage better. Thanks for all your advice!
