You are on the governor panel for appointing a new HT? Your HR advisers or LA external adviser should be able to give you a question bank. Obviously you need safeguarding covered. Then it's going to be dependent on your school's position - it might be something about finances, how they make unpopular decisions, their ideas for curriculum review, their school organisational strategy, what their 5 year plan for the school would be...
