Hi there,
I'm moving with my 2 years old boy to Fulham in Summer 2023. Looking for a great state or private school. Could you help..? which primary school are best to apply ...?
Thank you!

If you want academic schools with St. Paul's/Westminster/kings or top boarding destinations then you need pre prep route...Wetherby -Kensington fine and not too far-, Falkner house boys or Merlin ideally which are all commutable. Eaton house or Garden house are further but good pre preps too. Hill House as well.

Otherwise if you're set on local, Thomas's Fulham is best in area or possibly Ravenscourt up in Hammersmith. I'd personally avoid Fulham School having heard from friends and looked around and seen that it is quite chaotic. Might be ok for pre prep.

If you're going to stay in the area for the next 15+ years plus -- good walking distance independent schooling for a boy:

Nursery: Pippa Popins

Pre-prep: Falkner

Prep: Latymer/St Pauls Junior

Sussex house.

My son went to Pippa Popins who were fantastic.

Academic preps: Wetherby Kensington or Wetherby School, Falkner House (but only a few gets prepped for 7/8+), Eaton House Belgravia, Garden House used to prep for 7+ but no longer

Other good schools: Hill House, Thomas's, Hurlingham, Merlin

State schools: Holy Cross, All Saint's, St Johns Walham Green
