Learning apps

Hi!

I have written a post before about how DD1 has been struggling a bit with school stuff. I keep thinking if there are ways to make her more interested and engaged with learning. Maybe apps could work?.....

She has "teach your monster to read" which is good but maybe too easy for her right now. It was that app that inspired this post actually.

What else is there? I'm looking maybe more for maths stuff. Year 1, even though she's starting year2.....

Thank you 😊

There’s a white rose one minute maths but I do find it harder to find good maths apps. Teach your monster to read people have released a maths version but so far it’s too easy as it’s for the youngest children but might be worth a look, it’s called number skills.

Thanks :)

I was wondering if there were like puzzles around that could be suitable or something. I remember years ago playing one on PC that you had to basically find bonds to 10 or 20 against the clock. 😅 very stressful!

She's struggling with basics so I'll try that one :) she needs something to really solidify her understanding of numbers. She struggles if I ask 37+1, or 13+2 let alone the super complex exercises they give 5/6yo nowadays 🤦🏻‍♀️
