Dear friends of mumsnet,
We are planning to move to Lower Sunbury from Wandsworth in a few weeks. We are very nervous because it will be after schools started and we don’t know anyone in the area to ask for recommendations.
We would be grateful for any advice on any primary schools, particularly St Ignatius.

My third child has just left St Ignatius, I’ve had kids there for 14 years. It’s gone through a lot of changes in that time.

if there are any special needs I would avoid this school. I have a dyslexic child but their provision for him was inconsistent. Second child had visual processing issues and at 13 was determined to have a reading age of 8 which was completely missed, having gone though the whole school and I had queried learning difficulties due to her brothers issues,

The head teacher left at the end of last term and I don’t know who has been appointed, I thin’ there may be a delay.

my last child was happy there, I do think overall it has improved.

have you checked if there is availability in the year group you need?
