Hi, Any suggestions much appreciated. Just found out our soon to be Yr 2 child has dyslexia. Already very behind with reading/writing/maths and struggling. Currently at quite an academic school and considering switching schools and looking for suggestions in Woking/Guildford area. Ideally state but also private if best option. Either strong SEN offer or SEN exclusive.
Thanks for thoughts

Moon Hall is a dyslexia specialist school attached to Belmont Prep and always used to have an amazing reputation. It is private.

Think the site at Belmont has closed and school merged with their other site. Also knowl Hill school.

Lovely, thank you. Was hoping for some good state options too but perhaps not good dyslexia offer in area. Thanks

I can't help with dyslexia, my son is at Kingfield Primary in Woking, he has SEN and they are very good, really inclusive with good support. For state schools I would imagine you are better off contacting schools individually to see if they have space and to meet the senco and see what you think. I've also heard good things about Weyfield primary in Guildford but have no personal experience there.
