We need to move away from crouch end as soon as possible as we are in a tiny flat and though the schools are good we cant afford the housing.

We dont know much about Mill hill. In fact we have not been there, but looking at some property websites last night, we saw some affordable properties near 'popular' schools.

anyone?
thankyou (also in education)

Frith Manor - on the cusp of Woodside Park and Mill Hill. Fantastic school. You have to live practically on the doorstep to get in, though.

You may find it useful to look at the Barnet website. The school admissions booklet shows the 'catchment' area of admissions for last year. This will tell you how far the furthest person offered a place lived from the school for the last academic year. HTH

Fairway Primary is a lovely, one form entry school, nice teachers. You do have to live practically on the doorstep to get in, but children are always moving so there is a chance of getting in. Good Luck.
