Will schools close due to extreme heat?

Do you think infant/primary schools will close for Monday and Tuesday due to the extreme heat? There are amber alerts of extreme heat and Tuesdays the last day of school anyway. What's happening at other schools?

My dc don't finish til Thursday. They're using the outside classrooms (shady areas of the grounds under the trees) providing ice lollies at lunchtime and only offering sandwiches as lunch options.

There is no inkling that they will be closing at the moment.

Tuesday isn't the last day of school for a lot of schools. I cant see them closing. May just keep the kids inside instead of going out in the midday sun.

Ours don't finish for another week and a half- they sent a message on Friday explaining that kids didn't need to come in uniform and just to wear whatever was comfortable and that they may be sent home if they can't keep the classrooms cool enough.

We have been asked to keep kids at home unless we cannot make alternative childcare arrangements.
Wednesday is the last day of term for us.

Ours is open, non-uniform, cold lunches only, and optional early pick up on both Mon and Tues. They break up for summer on Friday.

We also have another week and half. School emailed to say open as usual, uniform expected, no extra measures in place beyond PE being reviewed and windows open.
