Best reading & phonics App or programme

Can anyone recommend a reading programme or App that is suitable for Year 2-3 please? To help a struggling reader.

We have Teach Your Monster through school but we’re not impressed with it and DC finds it boring.

Reading Eggs seems popular but I don’t know anyone who has used it.

Reading eggs is not necessarily in line with phonics teaching, I’d not recommend it to a child struggling as there are a few oddities we’ve come across (albeit at a lower level).

I don’t have anything to suggest but following with interest!

We went off piste and used Easy Read System (David Morgan) as phonics didn’t work for DS. It’s not cheap, but there’s a 2 week free trial and by the end of just those 2 weeks DS had already made a huge leap.

Nessy - one of DC school used it for spelling but it has reading bit and we took a summer deal for youngest child in one of the lockdowns for spelling and typing they seemed to enjoy it.

Reading programs - Dancing bears - 10 minutes day - you'd have to find correct book to start with Where to start with reading
