Hi all, could you please tell me what the current rate is for 1:1 11+ tuition. I am currently charging £30ph, but I think I am underselling myself and just wanted to check what others currently pay. Thank you in advance!! :)

I think it depends what experience you have, your pass rates and where you are. We were paying £40 a couple of years ago, NW. Highly qualified / experienced, very good pass rates.

Hello, I also think it depends on your experience and performance in this area. From my experience, I started with £40 per hour and have since increased my rates due to the demand and it is now my full time job. For lessons, I invest in high quality resources, put in a lot of planning time and feedback and I offer parents regular phone calls to have a strong team approach.

If you believe in your services and have many clients interested then you can slowly increase your rates and offer more high quality sessions. It also provides additional investment for training and staying up to date with relevant exam guidance and research.

It would be great to connect with another mum/tutor so do drop me a message if you would like to😊

Thanks,
Abi
