Primary Schools moving house

Help!!!!!
Currently living in a village, our child has gotten into the village primary school. However....just become a single mum, having to downsize as cant afford to stay in family home, and the houses in the village are very expensive would been asking for nearly all of the equity in the home to stay here.....Have looked at moving to a different town in an area near good schools more affordable......However! The good schools I would be happy to send him too are full! Thats 3 of them!!

So if I move to this different town, I could potentially be driving him 30 minutes back to the village every day so he can stay at the good village school until he gets a place at the good schools in the town...or worst case scenario continue doing this until he is of junior school age and im assuming in a good chance at junior school age of getting into a junior school in the town.

I also have a 2 year old , and also dont want them in different primary schools when the time comes for him to go too..

Anyone been in this situation...Its so stressful :(

You need to get him put on the waiting lists for the new area schools that you like as soon as you can. Waiting lists are like lengths of string, but if you make sure your new home is as close as possible to at least one of them you will be near the top of the list. Larger schools often have more comings and goings than smaller schools, but this isn’t guaranteed of course. I would check their admission criteria too, just to make sure there will be sibling priority for child 2. Also check out the other schools in the new area and see whether they are as awful as you seem to think they are, if you are going on both OFSTED and gossip then both are notoriously unreliable and often very out of date. You could be very pleasantly surprised.
