Recommendations for SEND 8 year old

My STB 8year old daughter is being assessed for possible dyslexia. It's her birthday next month and I'd like to get her a book that she will enjoy reading that isn't too challenging but would inspire her

Any ideas

Usbourne Beginners are really lovely non fiction books on almost any subject you can imagine.
The text is really simple but they aren't patronising and don't come across as though they're for "little kids".
My 10 year old still loves them and gets excited when one turns up in the library.
