Newton Prep Apple Nursery vs Fulham Prep Nursery

My DS is not happy in his current nursery any more. I cannot find out the reason but I thought since he is almost 3 it makes sense to got to a nursery school. He passed Newton Prep assessment to my surprise and got an offer. We also got an offer from Fulham prep nursery.
I would appreciate if anyone here who have or recently had children attending Newton Prep Nursery could share their experience.
Also would like to hear if anyone registered with the new nursery at Fulham Prep why did you choose this nursery?

Both nurseries have pluses and minuses for us.
Newton Prep is a bit far to commute. Unless I get a cargo electric bike to carry DS it will be no go. I am very bad cyclist so do not consider carried DS in a plastic seat on the bike.
Nursery keeps children till 4pm only whereas in Fulham they can stay till 5pm.
Newton Prep select pupils via assessments but their leavers destinations are very similar to Fulham Prep.
However, Newton has larger rooms and outdoor areas comparing to Fulham Prep.
Also recent ISI inspection report is excellent whereas Fulham prep got Ofsted good rating.
Based on internet research I cannot tell whether Newton Prep is better than Fulham prep. However, from my visits of the schools Fulham management and teachers felt to be more interested in parents and pupils.

I can assure you that Fulham PP nursery utilises all the Preprep facilities including their very large play Astro pirate ship playground, their sports Astro playground, school garden and indoor school hall. The Pre-Prep was given outstanding in their last Ofsted inspection, the school overall (three sites) is marked as good. I understand that Fulham Nursery is established, thriving and in hot demand for places. 😊

I don't have personal experience but live locally and know friends with DC at both.

Newton has the better reputation when you consider the whole prep school. I hear a lot of complaints about behaviour and organisation further up Fulham Prep. It also now has the senior school - which is a pro and a con.

A 'good' ofsted from an independent school - which should have great resources, selected children, more choice of staff, engaged parents etc. - is a concern for me. I would look at what it is on the report that the school needs to improve on and decide how much it matters to you.

It sounds like you live nearer Fulham. The cycle sounds horrendous! I would consider Fulham pre-prep with a view to then switching at 7+ (to a selective or non-selective- London schools tend to have more places at the moment) depending on how you are finding the school.
