Child sick - can KS1 SATS be done another day?

I believe KS1 SATS are tomorrow / possibly later in the week too. Child has come down with a nasty cold virus and may need to stay home tomorrow. Will he miss doing the SATS or could he catch up later in the week? He is rarely off school but has been miserable with a runny nose, temperature and lethargic today (not covid).

They can be done over a month period. They are only used to provide extra information to a teacher assessment anyway - the test papers aren't sent off.

We were told any time thing month so not sure if school has discretion. As it is, ours are next week.

Op don't worry, if he misses one he misses one. Nothing will happen

Even if he misses one it won’t affect him in any way! SATs are used for the government to scrutinise and monitor schools. They don’t benefit your child in any way. He won’t miss out if he doesn’t do them.
