What makes you think it is a choice?

It's not a choice you're right but which school is better? Thoughts please

Well if you are moving to get a school then Talbot

Otherwise if you already live there then both Highfield and Wigton Moor are desired schools. The catchments this year were off nationally and particularly for Wigton Moor as it was a very low birth year but typically you wouldn't get a choice- which catchment do you live in?

If you were moving for either Highfield or Wigton Moor - which one would you choose?

Don't really know why, but Wigton Moor seems to have the edge for me and I say this as someone who's children go to neither. Agree about what's been said above about little choice anyway and distance accepted catchments being very different this year. Are you buying a house? I would be happy for my child to go to either school and if you're buying in either catchment you can always put the other school on your form and hope for the best.
