Norwich Lower School vs Town Close

Does anyone have experience of both these schools?

We’re moving to Norwich and considering both of these. It’s very hard to get a real feel for a school from the open days/tours, so any actual experiences would be appreciated!

We don’t know exactly where we’ll be in Norwich yet, so any recommendations for good state primaries would also be welcome.

I recommend Town Close! It is a lovely school in beautiful grounds. It is very nurturing. I don't know anyone who goes to Norwich Lower School. The headteacher doesn't have a very good reputation.

That’s interesting @ejecoms. If you don’t know anyone there, where have you heard about the head teacher? From pupils who have left and moved to Town Close or just general chatter?

What about the new Town Close head teacher? Has he settled in well and made a good impression?

Have you decided for one of the two options? How did it go? Just asking myself the same question. Thanks :)
