DS (5yrs)uses Education City software at school which he absolutely loves. I was thinking about getting it for him at home and wondered if anyone else has done this. Also are there any other educational programmes or websites people would recommend
Thanks

You can try it for free for a month I think, then if you don't buy it they will extend the free period. It's quite expensive so we didn't bother to pay for it.

At the school I work at, Education City is available on our website and children can access it at home - you might want to check whether you can do this.

However we just look on it as an extra resource children can look at at home or in free computer time - in some schools it's used as a planned part of the lesson & so they don't make it available at home, as they don't want half the class saying "Oh I've done that one already..."

If you have Virgin Media broadband you can get the home version of Espresso, which we also use at school -the schools version is excellent, but I can't log in to the website to see how the home version compares.
