Can anyone give me some feedback on Sarum Hall School for Girls (in Hampstead)? Also what has to be expected from the parents-headmistress meeting? Thanks!

3 of my daughters went there all the way through. Albeit not with the new headmistress but I’ve heard great things from a friend with a DD at the school. We loved it and our girls got into great secondaries. It is quite old fashioned (at least when our girls were there, in as such as strong attention paid to etiquette etc, which I personally loved.) it is a very bright and lovely building, compared to all the other Hampstead preps. It’s definitely a lovely school

A lot of issues in the school stem from the fact that classes are too large for a private school thus pupils lack individual attention. Teachers complain about being overwhelmed when asked why work is not progressing and the headmistress is not interested in setting a better teacher/pupil ratio (adding more teaching assistants, etc). In general when I compare to friends children in other private schools the activities/experience is a bit underwhelming. Feels like the school is trading on its favourable past reviews rather than continuously improving.
