Anyone with a daughter currently at St Hilda’s in Bushey?
Looking for some recent reviews. What is the academic standard like and has anyone had any issues with it being such a small school? Sounds nurturing but a I wonder if it’s too small? Many thanks for any input in advance.

It was one of our back ups this year but we chose Habs in the end.

We loved it - felt so nurturing. We really bought in to the head, miss styles - but she is leaving for NLCS.

Kids seem to get loads of scholarships and do well at 11+ but they are tutored.

Thank you! That’s good to know. Would be great to hear from people whose children are there now too 😊

Hi OP, I have a daughter there. It’s a lovely school. Size isn’t an issue because there are enough girls that they have a wide friendship group, and there are a lot of very varied activities on offer, both curricular (they have swimming, ballet, games, PE etc and have specialist teaching in music, computing, languages, science - all of this is weekly) as well as extra curricular (lots of after school clubs, great wrap around care 7:30-18:00 which is perfect for me for office days). New head starts September and is very popular with parents and girls. Exam results are very impressive but we haven’t quite entered the 11+ prep years so I can’t speak directly to that. I really struggle to find any negatives about the school, we’re very happy.
