Schools in Sussex

Hi mums,

Can anyone help me to understand the schools in Lewes and Steyning. The Ofsted rating are mainly rated Good with 1 or 2 outstanding schools. I would really appreciate your feedback on schools in this area to help a very anxious friend of mine!

It depends on what she is looking for, where she plans to be in those areas and if they have space. Also, only she knows her child and what she wants in a school. Can she be more specific?

My friends daughter went to West Chiltendon, Rydon and Steyning Grammar. She did extremely well.

I don't think you can go far wrong with schools in either Lewes or Steyning. Steyning probably has the better feeder secondary, however, over Lewes Priory.

Is she looking to pick which area to live in? There's a fair distance between them
