Phonics screening

Hi. Does anyone know if you get results for a yr1 phonics screening test? My DS had his the week before he broke up from school. I just wanted to ask does anyone know if I would get a report before I ask his teacher how he got on. I know each school may differ but just after an idea before asking. Thanks.

I highly suspect your ds will have seen the previous phonics screening checks during school for the purpose of ongoing teacher assessment.

I have been teaching year 1 since 2014 and we send a sheet of paper home with the summer reports with the result eg. 38/48 pass or 4/40 fail.
