Hi All,

I have registered my son at the TPS and I was wondering if anyone has any experience or review about the school.

Thank you very much!

I know the school and it's a good prep school with a newish head. There are many preps in the area and extremely good state primaries so lots of competition.

It depends what you want. If you are aiming for Hampton/Reeds/KGS at age 11 you can stay in the state sector and tutor. The secondary schools take at least 50% from the state sector so you don't need to be in a private prep.

If you want the prep school experience then you have so many options:
Mixed - Newland House, Staines Prep plus all the smaller mixed preps in Walton/Thames Ditton.
Boys - Hampton prep, The Mall, Surbiton Boys, kings House, Milbourne Lodge.

It depends where you live and what you are looking for. TPS is a good prep school and will prepare your ds for local private secondary schools. It has a good minibus transport system if that is important.

Best of luck
