Dd's handwriting was pretty perfect up until Christmas, now it's after turning into an illigible scrawl... She gets really upset when I ask her to write properly, what can I do to get her old handwriting back? She says she likes it this way😭

I think this is quite common. My DD went from perfectly nice handwriting to ant sized handwriting at the same age. It was so small it couldn't be read.

She ignored me when I pointed out it was illegible. She soon listened when her teacher said he couldn't read her work so couldn't give her a mark.

It's so frustrating, her teacher hasn't said anything to her... She says she like it her new way & she's not changing it. I literally can't read it...

I'm sure they will say something if if can't be read. Is she definitely doing the crazy writing in school?

DD is 10 now and hers is back to normal following the teacher talking to her.
