I want to arrange a play date for my child but don’t have the parents details nor see them often . Would it be odd to ask the other parents in a group chat for their number to organise ? Feels bit creepy or maybe I am over thinking

You could write a sort of invite with your details on and get your child to pass it on like you would a party invite?

DD's nursery passed on the number of her little friend's mum, with a message for me to text her to organize. Worked fine!
