Hi all, just wondering if anyone heard from Bute house for the interview?

Also interested if they send invitations on the same day as the assessment or several days after? Wjat is the normal wait? Many thanks.

We heard back this morning - interview's week after next. So hopefully you should get some news soon

For those who wants to know :) Bute results this year

62 candidates this year, out of which 15 are moving on to SPGS (all offers accepted). G&L made 33 offers (11 accepted), LU 28 offers (11 accepted).

Good luck! I think with the new head it could be different than past years. They did group activities and see how the DDs all interact with each other. What's unclear is if the new head is going to continue with the taking a broad range of abilities like Helen Lowe, or if she'll go back to the old Sallie Salvidant days of focusing on the most academically capable children.

I have daughters at Bute from the 7+ pathway, happy for anyone to PM. As a previous poster said. It is hard to know how the assessment changes but it is usually a fairly known format.

Actually there were 18 starting at SPGS in the end from Bute.
