Westerton Primary School, Bearsden

Hi mums,

DS is 18 months and we’re looking to buy our first house. Schools are high on our priority list and we’ve seen a property that we like in Westerton. Can anyone advise on what Westerton Primary is like please? And also the secondary it feeds into which I believe is Boclair Academy?

Hi,

I grew up in westerton, I loved growing up there the community is one of the best. The area itself is nice and so are the people. As for the the primary I also went there and I can say it was one of my favourite times of my life. Great school, great teachers, very welcoming. As for boclair academy i also went there. Was a really great school aswell, it’s full of different types of people which makes it great. I definitely recommend westerton!

I've got nephews at both schools right now and parents are happy with both. DN at Boclair has dyslexia and is being well supported so far, he only started in August though.
