We are moving to the Ascot area imminently and looks like most schools are have no spaces.

Does anyone have any information or thoughts on the following schools -

  1. Cranbourne primary school
  2. Ascot heath primary school
  3. Winkfield st Mary's C of E primary
  4. South Ascot village primary school

We were hoping for st Francis or st Joseph or cheapside but none of these have spaces.

Any information would be appreciated as we need to apply ASAP.

Thank you.

hi OP
I can't help you much, except to say that DSS is at South Ascot, now in year one. He loves it and his parents seem happy enough.
I used to live close to WSM 8 years ago, when it was hugely sought after, to the extent of people allegedly getting their kids places, then promptly moving to larger houses in less expensive areas locally. And the drop off and pick up for Cranbourne must be horrendous IMHO, judging by the impossibility of driving past the school at those times of day, when the narrow road is more or less blocked with parents' cars.
Might be worth your asking on Mumsnet Local? Sorry I can't be of more use and good luck with the move and finding a school.

Thank you for the insight.

I have now posted in the Bracknell Local, none for Ascot.

Hi OP - try joining the FB group Ascot People. Lots of chat about those schools on there. From what I hear they are all really, really good schools.
