Tower House School

Hi everyone,

I recently moved to SW London and I wondered if anyone had any recent views of Tower House School? I have an 18mo son.

From the website it looks very small (approx 18-20 per class) - it that viewed positively or does it impact negatively on things such as team sports?

Both myself and my husband work full-time - any experience of what the wrap-around care and holiday provisions are like?

From walking by I can see that they are currently expanding the school buildings - is there a plan to increase the intake? What new facilities are they building?

At this point I obviously have no idea if my son is going to be academic/sporty/anything else, but I suppose I am looking for a solid school which will provide a good academic grounding, individual attention, good sports/arts opportunities and support in moving up to senior schools. Ideally I would like my son to have local friends. Does Tower House seem like it might fit the bill?

Any info very welcome! Thanks!

Also I heard a rumour that the sports fields they use in Roehampton may be up for development? Is this true?

Thanks again.

Bump.

I could have written this (just moved to SW , both working parents, etc) only that my son is 15 mo! They will be in the same year if both go to THS.Grin

Hope someone who has insight knowledge will shed some light.
