Marlborough house school vs Dulwich cranbrook Prep

Hi,
Can anyone given me any honest reviews of either Dulwich Cranbrook Prep or Marlborough house school? I love how small and friendly Marlborough is but Dulwich seems to have better facilities. Marlborough is 30-40min away whereas Dulwich is 15min away. My daughter is bubbly and outgoing and would fit in anywhere also loves music and dancing. My son is quiet and introverted and I think a smaller school would suit him. I just don’t know so would appreciate some honest experience of either school. Thank you.

I know both schools. There have been many recent changes at Marlborough. It used to be a thriving school. It now has another new head. In my experience, new heads tend to bring changes. Dulwich appears more settled, but it's swings and roundabouts with schools! Dulwich has an impressive theatre and there is a lovely Saturday dance school.It has also a thriving music department.
Have you looked at St Ronan's? It's a lovely school and the music department is outstanding.

@Morkiemum

I have direct experience of MHS (known as MHS or Marlborough House, not Marlborough). The new head is really excellent - extremely experienced, and the only changes he has made have been positive ones. The parents all seems unanimously happy with him. The school really does feel like it's thriving now after a period of change, and new pupils are joining the school all the time, even mid-term. It's a wonderfully happy school. Small enough to be friendly where the head knows everyone's name but big enough to offer great facilities.

The Dulwich head has been there for quite a while now and they don't usually stay forever so they may have a period of change too, but who knows.

They're quite different schools, so really I'd go with your gut instinct of which would inherently suit your child.
