Hello!
My family and are moving from abroad and are trying to choose between 2 schools - Holtspur and Butlers Court. Both have Ofstead ratings of 'Good'. Holtspur is smaller with one class per year group in contrast to Butlers. That's all the information I have really. Does anyone have any more information to share that could help us decide. My kids will be in Reception, Year 1 and Year 3. Thank you.

Do both have spaces, otherwise it will be whichever has spaces and may not all be in the same school, until juniors, when the 30 in a class maximum doesn't apply.

So both have spaces in Year 3. Holtspur has space for all 3kids buuuuut (:-)) Butlers is closer (3min walk). DH and I can't decide whether to keep all 3kids together or have our oldest at the closer school and put our other 2 on the waitlist (especially as they may never get a place)...

I’ve been connected to BC for about 30 years and FWIW, it still has a very, very good reputation locally. I know many families who could have afforded private education for their children but chose Butlers Court.

I don’t have any firsthand experience of Holtspur I’m afraid.

We'd decided to go with Butlers...they seem to have more extracurricular actives and also closer. Reading your message is quite reassuring. Thank you!
