Applying for school nursery before we have moved

We have just bought a new house but will be a few months before we move in.
Am I ok to apply now for a school nursery place using the new address? Or do I have to wait until we have moved?

School nurseries have their own application systems so contact the one you want and they will help you apply

Round here school nurseries have the same deadline date as applying for Reception (15th Jan) and you don't get priority based on when you apply. Is that the same for you? And will you have moved in by Jan? If so, I would just wait a few months. Otherwise I would apply with your current address and update the school when you move in.
