I need a new style for work

Ok, I work in primary, 1:1, so often sitting in the floor. Wages rubbish, so can’t afford much.

I feel so middle aged and frumpy with what I wear. Any ideas? Normally just wear long length tunics and trousers, both bought from eBay, so don’t fit me great. Love DMs, tartan and comfy clothes.

I'm a teacher in early years so always on the floor too! To be honest I just live in leggings as they are comfy and easy then casual dresses, mainly patterned loose or swing style over the top. I get my work clothes mainly in the supermarkets and primark, peacocks, matalan, don't want to spend much to get so mucky! As im early years and always have high proportion of SEN i wear all black trainers on feet x

You could wear DM shoes. They are quite popular at my school.

I always wear trousers as I like to have pockets. And usually a shirt that I don't have to iron. I check Next clearance for my teacher trousers by filter by size about once a week. Also Sainsbury's for shirts.

H&M sometimes have good bits and pieces and it's not too expensive. My primary teacher friend gets some nice, cheap blazers or long-line cardigans from there to wear with ankle grazer trousers or leggings.

Monki is worth a look - it’s another arm to H&M. Don’t work in primary, but recently got some incredibly comfortable wide legged trousers and other bits when I had the same fed-upness recently!

I work in early years in a primary school, spend my life on the floor, getting mucky, sticky and wet! I wear tracksuit type trousers (not joggers) with pockets, and long sleeve t shirts, if it's cold a fleece cardigan on top (can be freezing in our classroom!). On my feet I wear trainer type shoes that can be wiped clean.

I daren't wear anything nice I'm afraid, it would get ruined.
