Hi,
I am thinking of moving to Sutton mainly for my son's(4yrs old) schooling but quite confused about which areas in Sutton to target so that my son can get into an outstanding primary schools. I read few old threads where ppl have recommended Cheam village, south cheam and south Sutton areas but I have below queries. (fyi- I am looking for a house on a tree lane preferably near some open green spaces)

  1. What sort of primary school options we will have in above-mentioned areas?
  2. Which are the good prep schools in the area?
  3. Any particular postcode we should aim at? (considering our choice for schools and house near green open spaces)
  4. Does Sutton primary schools have specific catchment area?

Thanks in advance for help lovely peeps

Have a look at SM2 and SM3, near Cheam Park and Nonsuch.

Good schools I know of in that area are:
Cheam Park Farm
Cheam Fields
Cuddington Croft
St Dunstans
Avenue Primary

As far as I know, no fixed catchment areas.

Prep school for boys: Homefield

Thanks for info. We really liked Cheam Park farm school but it is generally lasts only for 0.6miles and could not really find any house of our choice. Any specific roads/lanes where we should be looking at?
